Picture 1The city of San Jose California offers plenty of fun activities that we can enjoy. If you are planning to stay a few more days and enjoy this beautiful city here are a few of my recommendations:

Downtown San Jose offers a good choice of restaurants some of the choices are: Gordon’s Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Loft Bar and Bistro, A.P Stump’s, Fahrenheit Restaurant, E & O Trading Company and many more.

Santa Row offers restaurants where you will find plenty of  great places to eat, such as: Consuelo Mexican Bistro, Amber India, Blowfish Sushi To doe For, LB Steak, El Jardin Tequila Bar & Restaurant, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Pasta Pomodora and much more!

Some of these places offer live music and if you would like to go shopping you will find plenty of boutiques in Santa Row or you can cross the street and go to Valley Fair Mall. A few blocks away from Santa Row and Valley Fair, is the Winchester Mystery Mansion In 1884, a wealthy widow named Sarah L. Winchester began a construction project of such magnitude that it was to occupy the lives of carpenters and craftsmen until her death thirty-eight years later. The Victorian mansion, designed and built by the Winchester Rifle heiress, is filled with so many unexplained oddities, that it has come to be known as the Winchester Mystery House.

In addition to visiting the Winchester Mystery house other activities that you will find interested in San Jose are: History of San Jose

J. Lohr Winery & tasting, Great America

Museum & Planetarium

San Jose Museum of Art
